So, what has changed from last year to this year? Have your goals increased? Did you have the time to reach them?
Every year, we set new goals, always looking to raise the bar of our objectives. Every company wants double-digit growth for their businesses, and everyone is seeking new investments. But ultimately, everyone is looking for only one thing: SALES.
💸 Money is king. Sales and earnings are what provide real growth for the company. I'm not talking about VC or investment money that will move like rocket fuel in the company for the typical 40/30/30 ratio (technology, marketing, salaries).
So, what are the 5 key things to achieve sales during 2024 that you should take notice of? 🔍
1. Product-Market Fit 📦
When was the last time you reviewed your product or service in the market where you compete and offer it? It's time to invest more time in reviewing the actual market and its projections to see if you are currently offering something competitive.
2. Client Intelligence 🧠
If you are still sending emails repeatedly to different companies in your target market without knowing anything about their business and current stage, you are wasting your time. Please invest some time in learning more about your potential clients. What are they looking for in a company? What are their current gains and losses? In which technology are they investing next? Who are the main companies that already work with them? These are just a few questions that you should consider before contacting them.
3. Pricing Review 🏷️
Check your current price offerings for your actual product and try to adjust them according to the values and virtues of what you offer versus the actual market and competitors. Sometimes, making adjustments to your prices could make you more appealing to potential customers and clients.
4. Events, Meetings, and Others 🎫
Please attend the events and meetings that these potential clients could be at. These are spaces for you to learn more about your potential clients and even secure some spaces for a quick chat with them to present the virtues of your business and what you can do for them. Showcase your capabilities by providing examples of the companies you have worked with and even present a quick demo of your product.
5. Human Resources 💪
Is everything AI? Please take a look around at reality because you need manpower to run your business. It's time to invest in them and make them grow. It is even time to expand your human resources at the same time you pick up new sales. For those looking for AI involvement in the business, take notice that it needs humans to make it work, so this will be a double investment by the time you take notice.
