In a strategic move to improve urban infrastructure management, ITpipes, a leading software company specializing in subway asset maintenance, has raised $20 million in funding. The investment comes from Seattle-based Trilogy Search Partners and Dallas-based Miramar Equity Partners, and will enable ITpipes to further expand its innovative solutions for managing municipal sewer and stormwater systems.

Founded in 2009 and based in Seattle, the startup offers software that simplifies the collection, analysis and management of inspections of various subway assets, such as sewer lines, storm drains, manholes and tunnels. With more than 300 municipalities across the United States already using its technology, ITpipes is playing a key role in the maintenance of aging water infrastructure, much of which dates back to the post-World War II era.

The company, led by CEO Ned Bebawy, is dedicated to improving the efficiency and accuracy of pipeline inspections, ensuring that cities can proactively address maintenance needs and avoid costly breakdowns. The recent $20 million round of funding will be instrumental in accelerating its growth and enhancing its product offering. Aaron Perrine, Managing Partner of Trilogy Search Partners, highlighted the importance of the investment: “We invested in ITpipes because of its proven track record in the market and the tremendous opportunity its technology offers to improve the well-being of communities across the country”.

With this new capital, they are well positioned to continue their mission of modernizing infrastructure management, helping cities across the country maintain and improve their essential subway systems. As urban areas face increasing challenges from aging infrastructure, ITpipes' technology offers a critical solution to ensure the safety and reliability of these vital assets.
