Peanut, the social networking app dedicated to connecting women through various life stages, is taking a big step forward with the introduction of Peanut Track, a new pregnancy tracking tool. This feature uses seven years of community-driven data to provide personalized, anticipatory guidance tailored to each stage of pregnancy.

Key Highlights of the tool:

  • Leverages AI and seven years of community questions to predict the most relevant information for pregnant women.

  • Provides content written by gynecologists to help women understand what to expect at each pregnancy stage.

  • Offers traditional pregnancy metrics like baby size comparisons and symptom tracking.

  • Connects users with other women at the same stage of pregnancy for community support.

Founded in 2017 by CEO Michelle Kennedy, it has focused primarily on fostering community through shared experiences, but this new feature marks its first step in offering personalized utilities. The tool responds directly to user feedback, offering a tool that supports women not only through social connection, but also through pregnancy health tracking and personalized information.

They plan to expand with another tool, Peanut Grow, to help mothers track early childhood development, scheduled to launch next year.

With total funding of $32 million, $10 million of which will be raised in 2022, Peanut is paving the way for a more interactive and supportive digital experience for women at key stages of their lives.
